Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an effective therapy that helps process distressing memories and emotions, such as past trauma. Using bilateral stimulation, like guided eye movements, EMDR helps reprocess traumatic memories, stuck negative beliefs, and emotionally difficult experiences, reducing their emotional charge and promoting healing.
